Web scraping and extraction
Headless browser
A real web browser run without a visible window and controlled by code to load pages, execute JavaScript and interact like a user.
In practice
Needed for JavaScript-rendered sites. It is heavier and slower than plain HTTP, so good pipelines use it only where it is required.
at import.io
Import.io extractors are built by point-and-click, AI assistance or engineers, with rendering, pagination and schema detection built in.
